Ci&T Advises Not to Give Up on Lean in the Wake of Toyota Recall
Now that the company that pioneered the Lean approach to manufacturing – subsequently applied to IT and other disciplines – has suffered major product recalls, the very concept of Lean is being called into question. In a recent blog post, Leonardo Mattiazzi warns those who believe in Lean not to use the Toyota recall as an excuse to dismiss the approach altogether, but rather to pay close attention to how a company infused with Lean thinking recovers from a setback.
